Katerina Ruedi Ray is Director of the Bowling Green State University School of Art. She studied at the Architectural Association and Bartlett, London, UK, and taught architectural history, theory and design at the AA, Bartlett and Kingston University, UK, before becoming Director of the UIC School of Architecture in 1997. Her publications include: Bauhaus Dream-house: Modernity and Globalization; and (co-authored) Marina City: Bertrand Goldberg’s Urban Vision; Chicago Architecture: Histories, Revisions, Alternatives; The Dissertation; The Portfolio; Practical Experience; and Desiring Practices: Architecture, Gender and the Interdisciplinary.
