Jim Sullivan

Jim Sullivan is Dean of Marywood University's School of Architecture. He holds a Master of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania. Sullivan is a registered architect and has practiced with Joseph Rykwert, Bernard Tschumi, Hariri and Hariri, and Hanrahan and Meyers, among others. Sullivan’s research is in two areas: the pedagogical issues particular to novice undergraduate learners within design disciplines; and Rem Koolhaas’s use of Dali’s Paranoid-Critical Method as a habit of thought that facilitates unexpected, imaginative connections between interiors and exteriors. Occasionally, Sullivan experiments with the PCM in his own design work, which has received state and chapter AIA awards.
