Jonathan Foote, PhD, is currently Associate Professor of History and Theory at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Aarhus, Denmark, and is founder and principal of Atelier U:W, a design research firm. He has taught architecture for ten years at Virginia Tech’s Alexandria Campus and most recently at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He also served as Director of Graduate Studies at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. His upcoming book, Michelangelo, Templates, and the On-Site Imagination, examines Michelangelo’s unusual relationship with architecture as a work in progress.
