Katie Kingery-Page is a licensed landscape architect and associate professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional and Community Planning at Kansas State University. Her scholarly work explores the value of arts and humanities knowledge for landscape architecture and is tested through design outreach with learning and restorative landscapes. Kingery-Page served as the 2011–12 Jarvis Emerging Faculty Chair in Landscape Architecture and was recognized in 2016 by the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture with its Service Learning Award. She is currently collaborating with Kansas State University’s Beach Museum of Art to implement a half-acre meadow landscape. The Meadow bridges art and science research occurring at the university, offering a place for informal learning and contemplation to diverse public visitors to the museum.
