Naomi Frangos is a practicing architect, artist, craftsperson, educator, critic and curator. Her interdisciplinary practice focuses on the intersection of craft, liminal zones of perception, and phenomenological thought. She is concerned with materials and fabrication methods and has experimented with metal, ceramics, glass, molds and casting in several recent projects. She holds a professional Architecture degree and Masters in History/Theory of Architecture from McGill University, and a metalworking/welding diploma from Montreal’s Professional Trade School.
