Terrance Goode is an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture at Syracuse University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate design studios as well as courses on building systems and on children’s learning environments. His current research focuses on the “open space” schools of the 1960s and 1970s, investigating these as the spatialization of socially progressive pedagogical practices. He has published articles and reviews in JAE, Center and the Journal of Architectural and Urban Research, and recently participated in a competition for the design of a K-8 school in Chyne, Czech Republic.
