Rob Holmes is an assistant professor of landscape architecture at Auburn University, where he teaches design studios and courses in the landscape architectural history, theory, and contemporary issues. He is also cofounder of the Dredge Research Collaborative.His research primarily focuses on how infrastructures constructed in support of urbanization relate to landscape change. Prior to joining Auburn, Holmes practiced landscape architecture in Virginia with Michael Vergason Landscape Architects, and taught in Florida, Virginia, Louisiana, and Ohio.
