Floating University Berlin is a hybrid organization. It is an artist-run association (Floating e.V) which sits on top of a fully functioning urban water infrastructure, a bio-technosocial site. This infrastructure site has been serving the Tempelhofer airfield since its construction and was closed to the public for many decades, letting nature take over undisturbed, forming a third landscape¹ or a natureculture.²
